About the Job:
The Director-Performance Advertising will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of all paid media strategies—including digital and traditional channels — to drive patient inquiries and admissions, grow brand visibility, and maximize marketing ROI. This role requires a results-oriented, data-driven philosophy. Engagement in cross-channel marketing and an understanding of online and offline media performance measurements, especially within regulated healthcare environments is essential.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Plan and implement integrated digital marketing campaigns across paid search, paid social, programmatic and streaming services. Optimize digital funnels to maximize lead generation, admissions, and brand reach. Use analytics and CRM platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce, PowerBI) to measure performance and inform strategic decisions. Identify opportunities for test-and-learn approaches, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization. Plan and manage the placement of traditional advertising, including print, radio, outdoor (OOH), and Connected TV (CTV). Partner platform vendor to secure effective regional ad placements. Partner with Call Tracking vendor to ensure proper optimization of online advertising. Track and analyze the impact of traditional campaigns on lead generation, awareness, and patient inquiries. Integrate traditional ad performance data into broader marketing analytics to inform full-funnel optimization. Work closely with Admissions, Content Marketing, Social Marketing and Business Development teams to ensure alignment of patient acquisition goals. Manage relationships with vendors and creative partners to ensure campaign delivery and results. Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare marketing regulations. Create dashboards and reports that track campaign performance across all channels (digital and traditional). Provide insights and recommendations to company and facility leadership on budget allocation, channel performance, and growth opportunities. Stay ahead of emerging media trends, technologies, and compliance updates relevant to behavioral healthcare marketing.
Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Five or more years of experience in performance marketing, including digital and traditional media buying. Three or more years of supervisory/management experience required. Demonstrated success in driving growth through multi-channel campaigns in healthcare or highly regulated industries. Proficiency with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, SEMrush, etc.). Strong budget management, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Working knowledge of compliance in behavioral health marketing (HIPAA, Google Ads healthcare policies, etc.).
