Department: Call of Duty: Mobile Product Team
Location: Santa Monica, California
Your Mission
As Associate Director of Product for Monetization, you will drive the success of monetization and content strategy initiatives for Call of Duty: Mobile. Your responsibilities include working with analysts to understand monetization opportunities, ideating new features and systems, partnering with Tencent, and evaluating performance through A/B testing and research. You will manage a Product Manager and a Senior Data Scientist, reporting to the Senior Director of Product.
Responsibilities
- Drive monetization and content strategy initiatives
- Understand player needs and identify opportunities
- Align on monetization strategy and roadmap
- Set clear goals for new initiatives
- Evaluate initiatives using A/B tests and research, applying learnings to improve the game
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years in product management or relevant field
- 2+ years managing teams
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, Excel, or similar tools
- Ability to synthesize insights and diagnose problems
- Strong communication and influence skills
- Proven track record of improving metrics
- Deep understanding of monetization in free-to-play mobile games
- Willingness to do meetings in the evening with China-based teams (once or twice a week)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with research to uncover customer problems
- Knowledge of statistics and A/B testing
- Experience with mobile shooter games or similar
- Strong strategic and critical thinking skills
