About Sporting Club Jacksonville (Sporting JAX) Founded in 2020 and officially named in 2023, Sporting Club Jacksonville ("Sporting JAX") is a community-rooted organization committed to delivering top-tier professional soccer to Northeast Florida. The club is launching men's and women's professional teams in the USL Championship and USL Super League, respectively, alongside a USL Youth Academy. Sporting JAX is led by a visionary ownership group and is planning the development of a 15,000-seat community stadium and elite training facilities. The club is focused on driving youth development, creating access to opportunity, and delivering exceptional fan experiences through soccer and community engagement.
Position Summary Sporting JAX is seeking a results-driven
Director of Ticket Sales & Service
to lead all ticketing revenue initiatives and oversee a high-performing sales and service team. This leadership role will be responsible for the development and execution of strategic sales campaigns across season memberships, group sales, premium inventory, suites, and single-match offerings. Reporting to Club President, the Director will play a key role in shaping the customer journey, maximizing revenue, and delivering exceptional matchday experiences. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, inspirational leader, and experienced sports business professional with a passion for community impact.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
Develop and implement year-round ticketing sales strategies across all revenue streams. Lead, recruit, train, and mentor sales managers, account executives, and support staff. Create and manage individual and departmental sales goals, KPIs, and incentive structures. Collaborate with marketing, digital, creative, and analytics teams to design and activate integrated campaigns. Drive both B2C and B2B sales, maintaining robust prospect pipelines. Revenue Management & Reporting
Oversee all ticket pricing, packaging, promotions, renewals, and customer engagement strategies. Monitor sales performance, generate forecasts, and deliver executive-level reporting and insights. Utilize CRM (HubSpot preferred), ticketing platforms (SeatGeek, Tickets.com), and analytics to inform sales strategies and optimize results. Service Excellence & Matchday Operations
Lead the ticketing team during all matchdays and special events. Ensure seamless operation of premium seating areas, group outings, and client hospitality. Assist with client entertainment, suite management, in-game promotions, and cross-department coordination. Client Relations & Partnership Development
Build and foster relationships with key clients, prospects, and community partners. Network within the local business and civic community to promote sales opportunities and awareness. Develop customized proposals, close deals, and execute contracts to meet client objectives. Team & Culture Development
Create a high-performance team culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Support staff development through training programs, coaching, and career pathing. Promote and embody the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and community service. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required (Business, Marketing, Sports Management preferred); advanced degree or certifications a plus. Minimum of 5 years of progressive ticket sales experience in sports or entertainment. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity. Proven track record in meeting or exceeding aggressive sales targets. Experience managing departmental budgets and negotiating contracts. Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot or Salesforce preferred) and ticketing software (SeatGeek preferred). Skills & Attributes

Oversee all aspects of ticketing operations and sales team performance. Manage premium seating and suite areas, ensuring top-tier client service. Engage in fan hospitality and customer relationship building. Collaborate with other departments to support promotions, activations, and fan engagement initiatives.
