THE OPPORTUNITY:
The
Director of Supply Chain
is responsible for the performance, cohesion, and continuous improvement of Marketlab’s supply chain. This includes demand planning, procurement, sourcing, inventory management, and supplier performance. The role requires a strategic leader who is also hands-on—able to coach a team, manage key vendor relationships, and implement scalable processes to support Marketlab’s growth.
The Director will build and sustain supply chain practices that ensure product availability, cost-effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and strong alignment with commercial priorities. This is a leadership role focusing on both execution and capability-building. This position is responsible for today’s performance as well as tomorrow’s readiness.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Operational Leadership:
Lead all aspects of supply chain execution including supply planning, procurement, sourcing, demand planning, inventory strategy, and supplier management. Oversee the development and implementation of supply and demand planning and S&OE practices in partnership with the Commercial team. Ensure continuity and resilience of the supply chain through vendor diversification, proactive risk management, and operational discipline. Build visibility into KPIs that track supplier performance, on-time, in-full delivery, cost trends, and forecast accuracy. Assess the supply chain of potential acquisition targets, evaluating integration requirements and timelines. Supplier Strategy & Sourcing:
Manage strategic supplier relationships, including contract negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing performance. Drive supplier rationalization and re-sourcing efforts aligned to cost, risk, and quality objectives. Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory to ensure sourcing practices meet compliance and traceability requirements. Partner with Product and Commercial teams to assess and enable sourcing strategies for new product launches and private label growth. Process & System Improvement
Champion data-driven decision making and process improvements across supply chain functions. Identify system gaps and lead efforts to optimize ERP utilization in areas such as purchasing, inventory control, and vendor management. Team Development & Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team that can scale with the business. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration. Provide structure and feedback to ensure accountability, focus, and professional development across the team. WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree
in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred). 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience , including 5+ years in a leadership role. Demonstrated success
in strategic sourcing, supply planning, inventory optimization, and demand planning. Proficient in ERP systems
and
supply chain analytics tools ; NetSuite experience a plus. Experience in
regulated environments or medical device/healthcare
product categories preferred. Experience in
M&A
supply chain due diligence and integration preferred. KEY COMPETENCIES:

Synthesizes complex data , constraints, and trade-offs into clear, actionable insights that drive operational and financial decision-making. Brings structure and clarity
to complex, fast-moving, or ambiguous supply chain situations, ensuring effective execution and continuity. Provides forward-thinking leadership
by anticipating future risks and opportunities, shaping a sourcing and planning strategy that aligns with long-term business goals. Demonstrates hands-on leadership , working alongside the team to drive results while developing others and building promotable talent. Work Environment:
The role is primarily office-based, with occasional travel, including vendor visits.
