Main Functions
We are seeking a Sales Director to lead our commercial efforts in this dynamic and evolving market. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives across the U.S.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth in the biofuels sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align sales strategies with company goals
- Provide technical insights and solutions to customers in a complex, evolving industry
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
- Preparing and achieving the sales budget defined for the year for that market
Required
- A Business degree (Business Administration, Marketing or related) and/or a Technical Degree (Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related Engineering degree)
- 12 years or more of experience, at least 7 of them being in the biofuels sales, energy, or industrial biotech sectors
- Deep understanding of fermentation processes and biofuels technologies
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 apps and statistical software

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Up to 50% of travel is required to various events, customer visits, meetings, etc., some of them internationally
