Data Analyst Edmond, OK / Staff Operations – Staff Operations / Full-Time/ Salary / On-site The Staff Operations Data Analyst is focused on and responsible for the data analytics, data visualization, and reporting for the Life.Church Staff Operations Group (SOG). The Staff Operations Group partners with Life.Church staff and leaders to recruit, retain, and support high-caliber team members. The group consists of three teams: Human Resources, Benefits, and Recruitment. The Staff Operations Data Analyst uses SQL and other programming languages to query, summarize, and analyze key metrics and develop data visualizations for the Staff Operations Group (SOG) in support of Life.Church and YouVersion. This position ensures data integrity and provides technical support & maintenance across all SOG systems. The SOG Data Analyst acts as an advocate and vital technical resource for all SOG teams through implementing new processes and maintaining operational integrity in partnership with both internal departments and external service providers or vendors. What You'll Do Create and maintain compelling and effective data visualizations. Perform investigative analysis with SOG data residing in MSSQL, BigQuery, and UKG Pro Analytics. Identify trends in people analytics that impact operational or strategic decision-making. Develop reports and dashboards that answer business operation questions submitted by SOG team leaders or other Life.Church and YouVersion leaders. Perform predictive analysis. Support SOG Director of Data & Systems in implementation and ongoing utilization of any SOG software or system. Proactively share knowledge with other data team members across the organization on best practices, new ideas, and other data experiences. Meet regularly with SOG Director of Data & Systems to relay the status of requests, coordinate project schedules, and conduct other operational/coordinating tasks. Skills Needed to Succeed SQL, or other related programming language skills and experience. Expertise in data visualization and reporting (strongly prefer Tableau). Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Maintain a systematic and organized approach to completing assignments accurately, thoroughly, and timely. Clearly explain complicated and detailed processes concisely and simply. Ability to self-motivate, take initiative, make independent decisions, and solve problems. Ability to collaborate in a team environment and work independently. Bachelor’s Degree in related field. 1-3 years of related work experience preferred.
