Drupal Web Developer
for a remote opportunity in our client in Iowa. Work arrangement: Remote W2 position Position description: The experienced Drupal Web Developer will join the client's Digital Experience (DX) team to design, develop, test, and maintain their Drupal websites, as well as create and integrate Qualtrics forms. The Drupal Developer will be responsible for day-to-day design, development, and maintenance of a large suite of citizen-facing websites that provide critical services to the citizens of Iowa. These websites are essential in supporting State Level initiatives. The Web Developer will work closely with the DX and Qualtrics teams, as well as business stakeholders and leadership to realize strategic goals and leverage digital assets. In addition to web development and Qualtrics forms, the Web Developer will also advance innovative and priority initiatives including accessibility remediation, search improvement, readability, customer experience analytics, and chatbot technology. Roles and responsibilities: Partnering with business stakeholders to gather functional requirements, review and approve all DX site updates Ensuring all website features and updates are thoroughly tested and function as expected, across all user-types, devices, browsers, and environments Providing Drupal application support via Acquia Planning and executing Drupal upgrades Migration and/or archival of website content, web forms, and data Developing custom themes for Drupal sites, as necessary Administering user access and configuring user roles and permissions Testing and executing core, module, and security updates Supporting the Qualtrics Customer Experience platform Designing and drafting surveys, dashboards, ticketing systems, and reporting Collaborating with product owners, service owners, and other partners to design and implement surveys using tools like Qualtrics Collaborating with stakeholders to design portals, platforms, surveys, training needs, and data collection/analysis approaches Establishing customer experience analytics Training users and content editors Integrating and implementing third-party plugin technologies Remediating accessibility and readability requirements to meet WCAG 2.1 AA regulations Demonstrating excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Exhibiting strong communication and collaboration skills Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: Drupal CMS (required, 8 years) HTML/HTML5 (required, 8 years) CSS/CSS3 (required, 8 years) PHP (required, 8 years) JavaScript (required, 8 years) Adaptive/Responsive web design (required, 8 years) GIT (required, 5 years) Figma (required, 5 years) Experience with Acquia (required, 5 years) Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (required, 5 years) Google Analytics (desired, 5 years) Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring multiple projects simultaneously (required, 5 years) Experience designing and building surveys with Qualtrics or other tools and integrating with organizational tools (required, 5 years) Interested?
