The Sr. Tax Analyst will have the ability to gain valuable experience in all aspects of the corporate tax function within a growing global public business. This role will primarily focus on a wide range of US Tax compliance and accounting responsibilities, including but not limited to Federal and state income tax, Federal excise tax, sales & use tax, property tax and US international tax regulations. In addition, this role will assist with governance of the global tax policies.
What you will be doing:
Involvement with Quarterly and Annual tax provision process at all levels - from calculations to Financial Statement Footnote Involvement with implementation/maintenance of tax automation software Involvement with reviewing all income tax filings Calculation and process of quarterly estimated payments and year-end extensions Involvement with federal/state tax audits including support for foreign audits, as needed Property Tax Budget - support Consultants in obtaining incentives to minimize taxes Involvement with Tax planning - acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, cash tax minimization and cash repatriation Responsible for Tax audits including:
Income Tax Provision - Quarterly/Annually audits Income Tax Compliance and associated audits Sales Tax Compliance and associated audits Property Tax Compliance and associated audits Excise Tax Compliance and associated audits Transfer Pricing calculations and compliance
Special projects such as; Country by Country Reporting, Mergers and Acquisitions, Pillar II, and other tax planning initiatives Required Qualifications:
B.S. in Accounting, Finance or related field required; CPA preferred. Master's Degree in taxation or Tax LLM degree is preferred. Minimum of 3 years corporate tax experience preferably with a mixture of public accounting and industry. Excellent time management and communication (written and oral) skills coupled with strong interpersonal capabilities. Experience with an outbound manufacturing company would be preferred but not required. Hands-on knowledge of tax accounting rules under U.S. GAAP and ASC740. OneSource Tax Provision experience is a plus Self-starting personality: ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously; ability to work independently and raise concerns to the appropriate level Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel and focus on internal "customer" satisfaction.
