– Night Shifts 13 weeks 06/09/2025 36-hour Quote: $2,386.20 per 36 hours $18.45 Hourly Taxable $602.00 Non-Taxable M&I weekly $1,120.00 Non-Taxable Housing weekly Trauma Level 1 Charting System Cerner Unit Notes ****2 YEARS MINIMUM ER/TRAUMA LEVEL 1 EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - MUST BE RECENT WITHIN THE PAST YEAR*** ***Start times vary depending on shift (traveler needs to be flexible to work ALL shifts listed - this is mandatory, no exceptions) ***Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through UNA, only (with 2 MAX attempts). PASS/FAIL Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation. If they fail, they will be made a DNU for 6 months. Day/Mid shift: 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 10a-10p, 11a-11p, 12p-12a, 1p-1a Night Shift: 3p-3a, 5p-5a, 7p-7a - Unit: ER - # beds: 60 beds; 14 are fast track. Bedside Triage. - Certs: BLS, ACLS, ATCN or TNCC, PALS or ENPC required. Moderate conscious sedation competency testing. - Ratios: 1:3-4 - Charge Nurse: Yes, and Unit Secretary - Nurse Aides: Paramedics: IV's, IV fluids, discharges, tech duties CNAs: tech duties" - Weekend Requirement: Min 4 weekend shifts per schedule period. Must do 2 of 3 holidays during the holiday season - Scrub Color: Navy - Tele: GE Lifepacks monitors - Vents: Puritan Benette 840, Dreager, Vision Bipap, V60s. - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: 2-6 Physicians and 2-4 midlevels - IV Team: Paramedics can start IV's. - RT 24/7: Yes - Pharmacy 24/7: Yes, ER Pharmacist available on days, 5 days/week - Shifts: Days / Mids: 7a, 9a, 10a, 11a, 12p, 1p Nights: 3p, 5p, 7p 12 hr shifts - Floating: Float between Gilbert and Chandler ER (7 miles/15 minutes apart), possibly mid-shifts - Floor specific orientation: 2-3 days on floor. - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Trauma, MVAs, GSW, blunt trauma, piercing trauma, CVA (Stroke center), MI (CP center), high risk OB (have a separate entrance, Psych holds (4-6 per day) until transferred out, cardioversions, conscious sedation for closed fractures. 11% Peds population,. Only admit 15 or > any younger than 15 are stabilized and transferred. - Additional Notes: 80,000 visits/year. Chest pain center and certified stroke center.
