Position Summary :
The Certified Electrician will provide leadership, service, troubleshooting, and efficient installation, inspection, repair, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and corrective/reactive repair work of electrical systems related to buildings, facilities, EVCS (Electrical Vehicle Charging Systems), and related systems.
Job Descriptions
Install, repair, maintain, and test commercial and industrial electrical systems and EVCS.
Use industry-related hand tools and power tools.
Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems, and other wire raceway systems.
Repair, maintain, troubleshoot, and inspect building electrical systems, EVCS, and all related systems.
Install, repair, maintain, and test other electrical systems such as fire life safety systems, PA systems, security systems, control systems, robotic systems, microgrids, and related systems.
Work on low voltage and high voltage systems as per authorization and level of training & certifications.
Feed, pull into, and terminate wire and cable within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switchgear, receptacles, switches, etc.
Splice and terminate wires at junction points.
Troubleshoot equipment electrical systems and control circuits and build control panels from drawings.
Prepare sketches and schematic diagrams showing the location of wiring and electrical systems.
Work on emergency generators, power distribution units (PDU), uninterruptible power supply systems (UPS), DC batteries, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and related systems.
Develop, review, and execute electrical safety job plans, job safety analysis (JSA), and job hazard analysis (JHA).
Communicate effectively with facility team members, engineering team members & supervisors.
Adhere to all NEC, NFPA, NFPA 70 B, NFPA 70E, OSHA, local, state, federal, and building owners safety procedures and protocols.
Read, interpret, review, and analyze electrical drawings, sketches, line diagrams, etc.
Perform progressively more difficult work and accept more responsibility while learning the job, ultimately doing the work required as per changing business environment.
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
Must possess a current and valid Journeyman Electrician Certification or C-10 / C-11 License.
NOTE :

Minimum 5 years overall experience after obtaining the Journeyman Certification / License.
Knowledge of National electrical codes, NFPA codes especially NFPA 70, 70B, 70E, 72, and all related uniform building codes and international building codes.
Training in NFPA 70E, PPE, electrical safety procedures & processes.
Ability to read / interpret electrical drawings and wire diagrams.
Working knowledge / understanding of electrical codes (local and IEEE) as they apply to controls.
Experience in scope determination of installation materials.
May be required to achieve and maintain other certifications as required.
Must respond to callouts and emergencies (within 1 hour), including after hours, carrying a communication device when on rotational call.
Strong job planning, prioritization, client focus, teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to work rules.
Knowledge of lock/tag out protocols, OSHA, and electrical safety procedures.
Ability to work in low-lit areas and at heights, including climbing and working from elevated platforms, ladders, etc.
Availability for shift work when applicable.
Pay : $125,000.00 - $155,000.00
The listed salary range varies based on education, experience, skills, location, and market data. You may be eligible for incentive or bonus programs.
