TBM Electrical Superintendent

to join our team

for a Construction Project in Washington DC. - Location: this is a 100% on-site position to be developed in Washington DC. - Estimated length:

24 months - In general, when the project ends, we try to place the candidate in other projects to give him/her continuity. - Summary:

you will be reporting to the head of the Plant Department, and you will oversee all electrical networks and electrical equipment’s on the project. - Responsibilities: Design electrical networks of the project, including coordination with the Professional Engineer and the electricity provider, in accordance with the client requirements. Management of the fabrication and installation of all the electrical networks of the project (including in house teams, subcontractors, providers, etc). Subcontracting, purchasing, or fabricating in house of all the electrical equipment of the project (substation, electrical cabinets). Technical consultation for investment and equipment rental. Adapt installations at Plant Manager or Production Manager request. Responsible for the electrical assembly, commissioning, dismantling of every equipment and particularly the Tunnel Boring Machines and its associated equipment. Check the equipment upon receipt (technical, delivery of operating and maintenance documentation, certificates of conformity). Organize and monitor maintenance work in accordance with the equipment maintenance schedules and regulations, by using the Computerized Maintenance Management System GMAO. Ensure that troubleshooting interventions are reported on the GMAO. Establishment of the electrical spare part list for all the equipment. Assist the Plant Manager to define the electrical budget and monitor it. Implement monitoring system for electrical consumption of the main equipment. Implement and maintain Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards as per the project requirements. Write the LOTO procedure and coordinate its application with the various departments on the project. Ensure method statements, job descriptions, procedures and safety instructions are followed. - Requirements: A minimum of 8 years of experience as a TBM Electrical Superintendent in similar projects. Experience with TBM projects including medium/low voltage electrical distribution on tunnel/ railway projects, heavy civil construction projects or similar. Licensed Electrician or Supervision of Electricians. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of electrical construction (electrical code, equipment, methods); craft agreements, jurisdiction and safety required. Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential. - Working Hours: 10 hours rotational shifts (day and night shifts)- it will be determined later in the process- Working for an international company currently expanding. Salary and other benefits accordingly. 22 paid vacation days+ 5 working days of sick leave (100% salary). Local health insurance. Vehicle, gas, laptop and phone are provided. Note:
