Amazon Robotics, a subsidiary of Amazon.com, enhances customer experience through automation. It automates fulfillment center operations using robotic technology including autonomous mobile robots, control software, language perception, power management, computer vision, depth sensing, machine learning, object recognition, and semantic understanding of commands. The team focuses on R&D to explore new product opportunities. This internship/co-op/full-time opportunity is based in the Greater Boston Area. Candidates must be enrolled in college/university with at least one semester remaining after the co-op, and be available for a full-time (40 hours/week), 6-month co-op from July to December 2025. Basic Qualifications Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent Enrolled in an academic program located in Canada At least 18 years old Available to work a minimum of 40 hours/week and commit to a 12-week internship Willing to relocate to the internship location Preferred Qualifications Enrolled in or completed a Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent Experience working for Amazon or its affiliates Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, C, or C++ Experience with open-source technologies such as Linux, Spring, or React Experience with distributed computing, programs, and systems Experience automating and streamlining team development, testing, and operations processes Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
