Role Overview The Brand Specialist will enhance The Macallan brand knowledge and confidence within the San Diego market, focusing on trade and consumer engagement. The ideal candidate is proactive, driven, and results-oriented.
Responsibilities Deliver tailored education to build brand confidence in trade accounts and wholesalers. Introduce new releases to relevant accounts. Identify and recommend opportunities for increased brand presence. Build partnerships with key accounts and implement distribution strategies. Increase brand visibility, distribution, and displays. Recruit new consumers via sampling, education, and influencer partnerships. Collaborate on brand-building initiatives with local teams. Report performance metrics and trade activity. Demonstrate The Macallan rituals in key accounts. Support marketing activations aligned with brand DNA. Contribute to global education and marketing networks. Manage budgets for T&E and activations. Qualifications & Skills Experience in trade, brand ambassador, or luxury brand roles. Understanding of luxury market distribution strategies. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills. Presentable and polished appearance. Strong commercial awareness. Experience in international organizations is a plus. Residence in San Diego, CA.
