Job Title: Investment Analyst Timing: Spring/Summer 2025 Overview: Bay Hills Capital is a San Francisco-based private equity investment management firm exclusively focused on the North American small market buyout sector. The firm’s investment activities include private equity fund investments, co-investments, and secondary investments. Bay Hills Capital manages multiple specialized investment vehicles on behalf of its endowment, pension plan, foundation, and family office investors. Position Summary: This investment professional will work as an integral member of our team and be involved in all aspects of managing the firm’s investment activities: Assist with fund performance reporting, including analyzing and monitoring the performance of the firm’s existing fund managers and underlying portfolio companies. Support fund operations and administration, including maintaining internal databases, investor reporting, and fund accounting. Assist with drafting and presentation of investment committee memoranda. Conduct research relevant to the small market buyout sector. Support due diligence on investment activities, including meeting with existing and prospective fund managers, analyzing investment track records and fund portfolios, and market research. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree with an excellent academic record. 0-2 years of institutional investment management, private equity related experience a plus. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and experience using a database. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Attributes: High integrity and a strong work ethic. Demonstrated quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. Detailed oriented with a strong sense of ownership of work. Team-oriented with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, but also self-driven and able to work independently at times.
