Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our engineering department, you will lead the design and development of innovative software solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, integrate various systems, and drive the development of robust applications. This hands-on role requires both deep technical expertise and strong communication skills, as you'll work closely with other departments and stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Essential Job Functions

Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable software solutions. Architect and maintain high-performance databases, ensuring data integrity and system optimization. Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and implement solutions. Manage multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stand-ups. Utilize project management tools such as Jira and Monday.com for tracking and team collaboration. Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend adoption when beneficial. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in software engineering. Expertise in

PHP (Laravel), Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS . Strong expertise in MySQL or MS SQL, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning. Experience with

Google Cloud (Big Query) and Amazon AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, SQS, CodeDeploy). Strong expertise in

Linux, Apache , system administration, security best practices, and performance tuning. Familiarity with development tools such as

Docker, VS Code, MySQL Workbench, Azure Data Studio, Sublime Text, and Postman . Proven experience working in Agile environments, utilizing tools like

Jira

and

Monday.com . Experience developing and integrating

RESTful APIs , optimizing for performance and scalability. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
