Position Summary The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance and overall management of the Club’s facilities on match days and during Club events. This role will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that facilities are safe, efficient and operational, providing an optimal environment for players, staff and fans. Key Responsibilities Support event operations, including match days and Club events, by coordinating facility preparation, setup and logistics. Work closely with Earthquakes staff to ensure stadium is staffed appropriately on event days based on anticipated attendance and other event variables. Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall user experience within the facility, from employees to fans. Partner with the Club’s operations, ticketing and marketing departments to ensure facilities meet the needs of all stakeholders. Support Football Operations, ensuring home and visiting team’s operational and performance needs are met in accordance with NWSL operating standards. Oversee event-specific setup, including VIP areas, media spaces and fan-facing amenities. Develop and manage venue budget, identifying potential cost reduction and program improvement. Regularly inspect facilities and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure repairs and maintenance are completed ahead of events. Assist with the implementation of safety and security protocols for all events; respond to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with security and medical personnel as needed. Assist with special projects related to stadium improvements and long-term operational strategies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, preferably in sports management, facility management, or related field. 5+ years of experience in stadium/event operations or facilities management. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintaining large venues. Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy efficient initiatives. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs, walk, stand, and move around the stadium for extended periods during events. Compensation The anticipated salary range for this role is between
$110,000- $120,000.
Hired applicant will be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope.
