We're looking for a highly technical and experienced Proposal Specialist to join one of our clients out of their Tulsa, OK office (we can support relocation). This role could suit a Field Technician who has experience coordinating proposals and working in an operational role, but is seeking to get out of the field. You will be supporting business development efforts across field services, transformer solutions, and apparatus testing divisions. This role plays a critical part in translating technical service capabilities into clear, compelling proposals that drive growth and strengthen client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the end-to-end development of technical and commercial proposals, RFQs, RFPs, and bid packages. Work closely with the sales, engineering, and operations teams to gather accurate scope, pricing, timelines, and value propositions. Tailor proposal content to match customer specifications and highlight service offerings in field testing, transformer repair, switchgear maintenance, and power system upgrades. Track proposal deadlines and ensure timely, compliant submissions. Participate in bid/no-bid discussions and contribute to strategic positioning of proposals. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in proposal development or technical writing, preferably in the electrical services, construction, or utility sectors. Familiarity with industrial electrical systems, transformer maintenance, or electrical testing is a significant plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Adobe Acrobat and CRM systems. Excellent organizational, time management, and project coordination skills. Ability to interpret technical documents and write with clarity for both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams under tight deadlines. Primarily office-based with occasional visits to field service sites or trade events, as needed. Minimal travel required (up to 15%). Seniority level
