Actalent Job Title: FPGA UVM Verification Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled FPGA UVM Verification Engineer with a strong experience in networking to join our innovative team. The FPGA Verification Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing verification plans for FPGA designs, with a focus on networking applications. This role requires expertise in Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) and a solid understanding of networking protocols and systems.
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive verification plans for FPGA designs, ensuring all functional requirements are met. Create and maintain UVM-based test benches to verify FPGA designs. Perform simulation, debugging, and analysis of FPGA designs to identify and resolve issues. Collaborate closely with FPGA design engineers to understand design specifications and requirements. Apply knowledge of networking protocols, such as Ethernet and TCP/IP, to verify FPGA designs in networking applications. Develop and implement automated verification scripts and tools to enhance efficiency. Maintain detailed documentation of verification processes, results, and issues. Stay updated on the latest developments in FPGA verification methodologies and networking technologies.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in UVM, SystemVerilog, and FPGA design tools such as Vivado and Quartus. Strong understanding of networking protocols and systems. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in FPGA verification, with a focus on UVM and networking. UVMF knowledge is preferred.
Work Environment
This position is remote, working with a team of 6-7 professionals.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $190000.00/hr.
