Position Overview

As Warehouse Supervisor, you will operate in a safe, yet high-paced, fluid environment. You must have the ability to safely optimize people and technology while ensuring quality in all aspects of the role. You are responsible for the daily oversight of warehouse operations and ensuring compliance with all company policies.

Job Description

• Supervise the day-to-day shift operations of one or more warehouse areas, including functions such as selecting, loading, shipping, receiving, safety, sanitation, replenishment, and product storage in a Grocery, Perishables, or Freezer Warehouse environment.
• Manage and oversee the daily activities of Warehouse Associates in fulfilling customer orders and general warehouse tasks.
• Instruct and supervise Warehouse Associates in proper execution of quality, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with the Shift Manager to develop employee performance plans; coach and mentor associates; utilize progressive coaching to provide feedback, increase retention, and improve relations.
• Manage KPIs such as Safety, Retention, Productivity, Budget, and Quality (Shrink).
• Conduct safety, quality, shrink, and operational audits, encouraging responsibility and ownership among associates.
• Investigate accidents following company guidelines, documenting findings appropriately.
• Travel required: No.

Environment

• Warehouse environments include: Freezer (-20F to 0F), Perishable (28F to 60F), Grocery (50F to 90F).

Skills

• Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
• People management skills, dependability, and deadline orientation.
• Physical ability to move merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs., stand/walk for 10-12 hours.

Years of Experience

• 2-5 years in related warehouse roles; supervisory experience managing 15+ associates preferred; familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems, voice recognition, inventory control, and labor management is a plus.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree or higher in General Studies or a High School Diploma or GED. The position is for 2nd shift in the United States.
