Manage day to day operations on project site. Manage project budgets and general conditions. Develop, plan, and execute project work plans. Understand contract documents and be able to identify issues that may arise. Review general conditions, schedule, scopes of work, hoisting plans, site logistics and other exhibits as prepared by operations. Assure subcontractors have permits for construction purposes. Plan work arounds for "shut downs" and other tie in's. Oversee daily reports and documentation. Create and manage project schedule, create contingency plans when necessary. Aid in development of project teams. Plan and coordinate jobsite logistics. General Superintendent Qualifications:
Strong employment stability. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, administration, or 15 or more years running commercial and industrial projects valued at $150M or more. Must have experience managing NYC construction projects. OSHA 30 certification. Detail oriented, strong work ethic, ability to work in stressful situations.
