Job Location: Albany, NY
Job Overview
We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from beginning to end. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with building codes and regulations.
Duties
- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure their work is in line with project requirements
- Implement and maintain project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera or Prolog
- Oversee quality control measures to ensure work meets high standards
- Monitor construction site safety and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Collaborate with project managers to address any issues that may arise during construction
- Conduct regular inspections to assess progress and identify potential risks
- Maintain accurate records of construction progress, delays, and changes
Experience
- Proven experience in managing construction projects from start to finish
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, contracts, and construction management principles
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team of workers on-site
- Ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
