Cripple Creek-Victor School District RE-1 School Board in Cripple Creek, Colorado , is seeking a highly qualified
Superintendent . The Board wishes to have the successful candidate assume the responsibilities of the position no later than July 1, 2025. McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C., Executive Recruitment and Development, has been engaged as the consultant in a search for outstanding candidates. They will assist the School Board in identifying and screening the candidates. Location:
Teller County, CO; 45 miles west of Colorado Springs The Qualifications The candidate must have the experience, skills, and abilities essential for leading a small, rural school district. The Board recognizes that selecting a superintendent is one of the most important decisions it will make. The School Board seeks an experienced educational leader who: Demonstrates a strong work ethic and has experience as a classroom teacher Is committed to continuous improvement through academic best practices and has experience in turnaround schools Models empathy, emotional intelligence, and implementing protective factors for high-risk populations Is knowledgeable and experienced in navigating special education, Title IX, Sec. 504 compliance, and Colorado law Has successfully sought and managed large-scale grant opportunities Desires to live in the community and routinely engage with multiple constituencies Salary Range:
$112,000 – $120,000 plus full family insurance benefits, subject to negotiation Search Timeline: Closing date for applications:
