Role Overview
The Field Medical Director/Sr. Field Medical Director - Northeast is a field-based scientific expert responsible for engaging with healthcare professionals and stakeholders, providing medical information, and advancing disease state knowledge. This role involves developing strategic territory plans, building relationships with KOLs and research centers, supporting clinical research, and representing BridgeBio at scientific events.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Strategy: Develop and execute medical plans aligned with company goals, review scientific literature, and share insights.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with investigators, healthcare providers, and patient advocacy groups.
- Scientific Engagement: Present scientific data, support commercial efforts, and manage KOLs and investigator relationships.
- Research Support: Facilitate clinical research activities, interpret data, and lead clinical trial efforts.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain thorough understanding of products and disease areas, support training, and handle scientific inquiries.
Qualifications
- Advanced healthcare degree (PharmD, Ph.D., MD, etc.).
- 3+ years of medical affairs experience preferred; relevant clinical experience considered.
- Experience in rare diseases, skeletal dysplasia, or similar fields is a plus.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and scientific presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel 60-70%, including weekends and some international travel.
