The Managing Director - LSB Financial Services/President – LSB Capital Management is responsible for leading and growing Lincoln Savings Bank’s wealth management and trust services division, LSB Financial Services, Inc., along with the Bank’s Registered Investment Advisor, LSB Capital Management, Inc. by developing and executing strategic initiatives designed to sustainably grow AUM and fee revenue.
The role focuses on delivering high-quality financial planning and advisory services, investment management, trust services, and legacy planning solutions to clients. The successful candidate will drive business growth, enhance client relationships, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of excellence, high-performance and community engagement.
Location: Lincoln Savings Bank, Des Moines or Waterloo metro areas
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic vision for the bank’s wealth management division to enhance revenue, market share, and client satisfaction.
- Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities by leveraging relationships with high-net-worth individuals, businesses, and community organizations.
- Client Relationship Management: Foster long-term relationships with clients by providing tailored financial planning, investment management, and trust solutions.
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of financial advisors, trust officers, and support staff. Promote a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all banking, investment, and fiduciary regulations, including SEC, FINRA, and state banking authorities.
- Product & Service Enhancement: Continuously evaluate and improve wealth management product offerings and services to meet the evolving needs of clients.
- Community Involvement: Act as a key representative of the bank within the local community, participating in events and building relationships that align with the bank’s mission and values.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or Juris Doctor preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or private banking, with a track record of leadership and business growth.
- Strong knowledge of investment strategies, fiduciary services, estate planning, and financial planning principles.
- FINRA Series 7, 66 (or equivalent) and appropriate state insurance licenses preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and manage a profitable wealth management division.
- Commitment to community banking values and a client-centric approach to financial services.
- Ability to travel across the bank’s branch offices on a regular basis.
