ARG is partnering up with a leading Westchester based CPA practice to identify a tax partner/principal to add to their team. In this role you would lead the tax practice for a firm of 5+ CPAs and manage client relationships on an ongoing basis. Responsibilities: Oversee preparation and review of federal and multi-state tax filings for individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns. Contribute to the continued growth of the firm’s client practice through relationship building. Individually manage client relationships, including client contact, coordination with clients, and preparation timing for small and medium sized engagements. Train and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and supervision on tax matters. Assist with tax planning, tax compliance, and on-boarding of new clients while maintaining quality client relationships. Act as the primary point of contact for the firm's existing client base, serving as a trusted liaison between the clients and the organization. Qualifications: Active CPA license 10+ years of Tax Accounting experience Direct experience managing staff and client relationships Experience in high volume tax preparation Seniority level
