within eCommerce is responsible for delivering the platform that helps our customers discover the right products and services that Walmart has to offer. The team leverages sophisticated machine learning, data science and big data technologies to understand customers’ intent and provide relevant product and services through the best possible experience. As a
Director of Product Management , Browse, you will lead the vision and charter to build an inspirational and intuitive browsing experience for our customers. This leader will drive the work with smart, passionate PMs, Engineers, and Data scientists to build the platform at scale that can show the right set of items for every customer journey – every single time. You will begin in an individual contributor (IC) capacity, with the potential for this role to evolve into a leadership position overseeing a team in the future. You’ll make an impact by: Reimagining the largest Omni Browse platform that will help customers find anything and everything they desire – such as, products, services, and content. Defining a vision and strategy for our Browse experience. Bringing a passion to product management at scale. Problem solving with smart people. Defining and measuring key measures of success. Developing and implementing strategies to attract great product talent. Having fun! Minimum Qualifications: Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position: Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 11 years’ experience in product management. Option 2: 13 years’ experience in product management or related area. Preferred Qualifications: Outlined below are the optional preferred qualifications for this position: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 10 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products. Supervisory experience. We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
