- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to follow written instructions and
- interpret recipes; ability to complete simple math problems involving addition, subtraction and division;
- Additional criteria as the Board may establish.
- Physical and mental stamina and ability to perform job functions, tasks and duties.

SUPERVISES : Non-Applicable
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : 9 Months
PAY FACTOR : Non-Applicable
JOB GOAL : To provide each school child with food of high nutritious quality in an atmosphere of
cleanliness, cheerfulness, and personal caring.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:- Understands and uses standardized recipes.
- Completes food preparation, service and cleaning duties.
- Uses proper portion control techniques.
- Maintains equipment and facilities.
- Maintains high standards of health, sanitation, and safety.
- Cooperates with school officials and parents.
- Assists with school food service collection procedures when assigned.
- Maintains good personal hygiene and follows established dress code.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the superintendent and/or evaluator.
PROFESSIONAL ETHICS:
Maintains good attendance.
Reports to work on time.
Displays professional ethics on and off duty.
Adheres to all Iberville Parish School Board's Policies
Reports job-related injuries within 24 hours of a work accident to the immediate supervisor.
Assumes responsibility for implementation of emergency procedures.
Seeks and maintains a positive attitude of promoting school and community relations.
Participates in and promotes harmonious working relationships with students, colleagues, parents and community members.
Attends meetings as directed.
Serves on task force and decision-making committees, when appropriate.
Adheres to all Professional Standard requirements including annual Professional Development hours.
Reports all motor vehicle accidents or moving violations to his/her direct supervisor immediately.
