Job Description Our Furniture Delivery Driver's primary duty is to transport office furniture around Southern California safely and efficiently. You will pickup orders from our vendors, and make deliveries to customer locations. This involves loading, unloading, and maneuvering furniture, often assisting with assembly and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Loading and Unloading: Safely loading and securing furniture onto the delivery vehicle and unloading, ensuring items remain in good condition. Delivery and Route Planning: Planning safe & efficient routes while adhering to traffic laws and delivery schedules, and delivering furniture to the correct location. Furniture Handling: Handling and moving furniture with care, potentially lifting and maneuvering heavy items. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service, interacting professionally with clients, and addressing any delivery-related concerns. Assembly (Often Required): Assembling furniture in our warehouse and sometimes at the customer's location. Documentation: Accurately documenting deliveries, verifying orders, and sometimes collecting payments. Warehouse Assistance: Assisting with warehouse tasks like receiving shipments, organizing furniture and locating items for deliveries. Vehicle Maintenance: Maintaining the delivery vehicle, reporting any issues, and ensuring it's in safe working condition. Requirements Valid California Class C Drivers License Clean driving record ability to lift 50-75lbs unassisted Schedules You will be expected to remain flexible in your availability to work. Although 7am - 4pm is our normal shift there are times installations will need to be complete after hours or on Saturdays. (Sunday & Holiday work is rare.)
