Represent employers in court and administrative litigation concerning employment discrimination, state and federal leave laws, wage and hour issues, and contract disputes. Handle general business and/or commercial litigation matters, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Manage all stages of litigation, from investigation and pleadings through discovery, dispositive motions, and trial preparation. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and other court submissions. Engage in discovery and conduct depositions. Provide high-quality legal counsel to clients, ensuring the best possible outcome. Collaborate with a larger team while also being able to work independently. Requirements
2-5 years of experience in employment and business litigation. Experience representing employers in employment-related disputes, including discrimination, leave law violations, wage/hour issues, and contract disputes. Familiarity with general business and commercial litigation. Proven ability to handle all stages of litigation, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, and trial. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Strong commitment to providing high-quality client service. Strong academic credentials. Intellectual property experience is a plus but not required. Education
J.D. from an accredited law school. Certifications
Admitted to practice in the relevant state jurisdiction. Skills
Strong litigation skills and experience in managing cases from start to finish. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
