Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, CIS, computer science, or closely related field with 1 or more years experience in Technical support/Networking/IT Security, or systems administration role Associates Degree in IT, or closely related field with 2 or more years experience in Technical support/Networking/IT Security, or systems administration role or 4+ years of experience in Technical support/Networking/IT Security, or systems administration roles
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Good customer service disposition and positive attitude
Preferred Skills/Experience Linux administration Cyber security skills Interests/aptitude to work with AI models Scripting skills (BASH, Python, etc.) Project Management experience and/or certification Cisco Phone system and switch administration Nutanix systems administration skills
Assist in the management and monitoring of computer systems including servers, workstation, network hardware, switches, firewall and wireless equipment. Deployment of physical and logical networks which include the installation of cabling and necessary electronics. Monitor and maintain network performance. Oversee the setup and maintenance of network connectivity including firewall protection, VPN connections and WiFi connectivity. Oversee the implementation and administration of the Institution’s IP Telephony system on the Richfield Campus. Work with faculty to promote the effective use of IT in support of teaching and learning. Provide audio-visual/media services and equipment in support of the institution Manage the Richfield academic computing activities and labs for faculty, staff, and students. Administer Nutanix and Citrix servers, and active/EntraID directory, where used in connection with these labs. Work with various departments in maintaining software applications for door controls, wireless systems, HVAC systems, and other needed applications. Establish and maintain consistent standards for imaging, computer & other device naming, and deployment between the Richfield and Ephraim campuses Experiment with Large Language models to help develop AI assistants for administrative and academic tasks Provide helpdesk services for Richfield faculty, staff, and students. Provide remote helpdesk support for Ephraim campus. Provide other duties as assigned. Applications received by 11:59 PM on May 23, 2025, will be eligible for review by the hiring committee.
