Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering discipline At least 8 years of design, consulting, construction, commissioning and/or operations experience in the power generation market Experience in overseeing execution of thermal generation power plant projects through various phases of development from planning to commercial operation. Proven ability to engage and develop strong working relationships with both clients, EPC contractors and other project stakeholders. Proven ability to provide advisory services to ensure compliance to project specifications, engineering codes, and best engineering practices. Proven ability to coordinate inter-disciplinary engineering deliverables such as plans, manuals, reports, procedures, calculations, specifications, process flow diagrams, P&IDs, drawings, records, and other relevant documents related to a thermal generation power plant. Strong communication and technical writing skills Other highly regarded qualifications include: Cogeneration or combined heat and power system experience Design, construction, operation or maintenance of gas turbine power plants or any other thermal generation power plants Professional engineering license Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
