In the role of Business Development Director, you'll play a pivotal part on our Sales team. The Business Development Director is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategy to maintain and grow identified customer base. The Sales Director is responsible for managing day-to-day customer relationships with the primary goal of growing the business, increasing order intake, promoting products, negotiating new agreements, reviewing current agreements, and managing daily sales operations such as forecasting and pricing. This position contributes to our vision by: Owning Sales P&L for the selected account(s) to meet annual business targets. Developing and managing customer relations. Identifying and cultivating new customers for new business opportunities, increasing order intake, and improving top-line performance. Serving as the primary contact for the selected accounts. Implementing sales strategies and providing feedback for adjustments. Identifying and leading sales opportunities for the division/site. Managing programs from RFQ response to delivery. Generating monthly sales reports. Participating in product development meetings. Conducting market analysis to drive product development and sales. Leading forecasting and budgeting exercises. Responding efficiently to customer inquiries by collaborating with other departments. At Safran Cabin, diversity & inclusion are valued. Qualifications include an engineering or technical degree, or a B.S./B.A. with 5+ years of relevant experience. Must have at least 6+ years in sales or contracts management, with advanced skills in MRP and Microsoft Office. Other skills include problem-solving, customer service, relationship building, communication, multitasking, and attention to detail.
