Overview
An electric utility client is looking for a Grid Data Analyst who will support the Grid Needs Assessment (GNA) and Distribution Upgrade Projects Report (DUPR) processes.
Location: Pomona, CA 91768 (HYBRID)
Position: Grid Data Analyst
Pay Rate: $48.91/hr. on W2
Duration: 12 months or longer
Schedule: 8AM – 5PM. Hybrid: Remote on Mon, Tues and Fri; In office on Wed and Thurs
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support of the Grid Needs Assessment (GNA) and Distribution Upgrade Projects Report (DUPR) processes.
- This includes aggregation and quality assurance of grid needs data and planned investments.
- Support of the GNA/DUPR narrative for the annual CPUC filing.
- Development of process documentation for presentation at external stakeholder review meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a scientific/technical/math field.
- Five to seven years of engineering experience.
- Data Analysis: The ability to organize and process large amounts of data for the use in developing insights and compliance reporting.
- Coding: Familiarity with Python scripting and database queries.
- Process Development: The ability to develop and improve upon processes and effectively administer changes through OCM.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understanding of electric utility grid and the equipment used to build and operate the system.
- Ability to analyze large sets of data to identify trends and outliers.
- Experience with developing documentation to meet compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
