Responsibilities
- Maintains Account Payables. Process invoices duly approved by the Property Managers. Ensure correct invoice entries into the Accounts Payable module of the Accounting System.
- Maintains Tenant Accounting for all agency units. Post payments and adjustments to the proper tenant accounts. Issue tenant rent statements and late notices monthly.
- Prepares routine financial reports.
- Assist with annual financial audits.
- Generate Purchase Orders for requested supplies. Check invoices and purchase orders for any discrepancies.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience working in a professional environment.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of accounting and bookkeeping.
- Ability to make arithmetic computations and tabulations rapidly and accurately.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs such as Excel and Word.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field. A combination of experience and education may be considered.
Special Requirements
- Ability to be covered under the Authority's fidelity bond.
- Ability to be covered under the Authority's automobile insurance.
