Additional voluntary benefits such as STD, LTD, etc. Job Summary The Human Resources Manager will run the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including administering the human resource policies and procedures, maintenance of the HRIS system (Paylocity), benefits administration, staff onboarding, employee relations and projects as assigned. Duties include but are not limited to, talent management, succession planning, employee engagement, wage and salary administration and training. Essential Functions Supervising all HR activities, communications, reports and request and documents created and received by teams. Works closely with upper management to implement HR Programs across departments and oversee hospital functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training, compliance and benefits administration. Utilizes HR reporting and dashboard to analyze metrics to identify strategies to ensure continuous improvement within the hospital. Counsels employees related to promotions, transfers, terminations, exit interviews and other work items. Conducts investigations and attends hearings. Responsible for all aspects of onboarding new hires, including ensuring accurate completion of the account in the HRIS, completing background checks, I9 compliance, communication with manager, IT, etc. Completes new employee benefit orientations, to ensure the employee gains an understanding of the benefits plans. Maintaining current job descriptions for all employees, including new hires and job changes. Monitors license and certification requirements and expirations and works with staff to maintain up to date documentation. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices. Assist with audits. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and completes all FMLA, STD and benefit related tasks. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Experience: Must have a minimum of 5-7 years in Human Resource Experience. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a mid-size healthcare setting. Indepth knowledge of Payroll Systems and benefits administration.
