Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center
is recruiting a PRN and/or weekend coverage Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for the Residential Treatment facility. Duties include admission evaluations, medication management, and direct patient care. The caseload primarily involves children and adolescents aged 5-17 years with diverse psychiatric issues. Physicians work in a collegial, supportive environment alongside other physicians, clinical staff, and administration, offering opportunities for professional and personal growth. Caseload and call are manageable. Ideal candidates will be BE/BC in Child Psychiatry with experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults aged 5-17 years. Compensation: The position can be contract or part-time with a competitive salary and benefits, or an hourly rate/fee-for-service arrangement. Education, Training & Experience: MD/DO from an accredited program required Board certified or eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Licensed to practice in Virginia or able to obtain a Virginia medical license Minimum of 4 years of practice or training experience Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians Interested individuals should apply via this ad or directly to the In-House Physician Recruitment Department of Universal Health Services, Inc.
