Animal Medical Center of Hattiesburg is the oldest veterinary clinic in Hattiesburg, MS, originating in the 1950's. The practice was purchased by Dr. John Mayfield, Jr in 1975. Animal Medical Center is a 11 doctor hospital and a full service, veterinary practice providing 24-hour care and emergency services.

Currently, we are seeking a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited university, licensed to practice in Mississippi. Our ideal candidate would be excited to learn new things, enjoy being challenged, can work alone or with a team of veterinarians. We are seeking a doctor who not only enjoys veterinary medicine and patients, but also working with the clients and our team. Applicants must be able to work on night shifts, weekends, holidays, and be on call.
About Hattiesburg, MS: Hattiesburg is home to the University of Southern Mississippi and William Carey University. It is a vibrant college town as well as a warm small town.
