Vice President Relationship Management
The Role
Fidelity Digital Assets, a subsidiary of Fidelity Investments, operates as a separate business dedicated to digital assets. Our team combines operational and technical expertise to deliver innovative products and services that help institutions adopt digital assets and thrive in the digital finance landscape.
The VP, Head of Relationship Management, will partner with the management team to enhance partnerships, shape strategy, and develop a roadmap for business growth. You will lead, coach, and train a global team of Relationship Managers focused on strengthening client relationships, loyalty, retention, and expansion.
Your leadership will drive organic growth, increase market share, influence organizational direction, and ensure the success of Clients and Associates.
Skills and Expertise
- Proven success in building and leading institutional relationship management teams, with experience in banking, brokerage, or digital asset institutions, preferably with a focus on technology-led services.
- At least 15 years of relevant financial services experience; global experience is a plus. Passion and knowledge of the Digital Assets ecosystem are essential.
- Minimum of 5 years in people management, ideally in a financial operations environment, managing geographically dispersed teams.
- Ability to engage with Institutional Client executives to align strategies and deliver value-driven solutions.
- Experience overseeing complex operational processes.
- Proven ability to build and manage relationships with demanding clients and internal/external partners.
- Strong leadership skills, especially in fast-paced, collaborative settings.
- Expertise in the Digital Assets space.
- Excellent relationship management, listening, questioning, and communication skills.
- Capacity to operate in ambiguity, set team tone, and pace.
- Risk management and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to identify and improve inefficient processes.
- Focus on deepening client retention and engagement, and increasing share of wallet.
- Support strategic clients and retention initiatives.
- Contribute to shaping and advancing global relationship management strategies.
- Develop team members for current and future roles.
- Promote collaboration within the team and organization.
- Use sound judgment, maintain stability through change, and foster innovation through curiosity and understanding of business challenges.

The Relationship Management team collaborates closely with other functions to develop best-in-class products, services, and platforms for institutional clients. As the digital assets industry and regulatory landscape evolve, we aim to set standards across traditional finance and crypto-native cultures. You will work alongside product, strategy, marketing, business development, and technology teams to realize this vision.
