Role & Responsibilities The Nurse Educator assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates educational activities for an assigned service or population. Responsibilities include collaborating with staff to assess learning needs, developing educational plans, creating instructional materials, and maintaining records of educational activities.
Qualifications
BSN required; MSN preferred (must enroll within 6 months of hire)
BLS Provider credential from AHA
Registered Nurse license from Illinois
Experience in Nurse Education preferred; ER nursing experience required
Certified ED RN (CEN)
