Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist / Senior CT Technologist
Full-Time | Spokane, WA | Up to $5,000 Hiring Bonus
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking skilled and dedicated CT Technologists to join a leading hospital in Spokane, WA. We have openings for both CT Technologist and Senior CT Technologist, offering a chance to utilize your expertise in a dynamic and patient-focused environment. Position Overview:
As a CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing computed tomography scans to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will operate state-of-the-art CT equipment, prepare patients for procedures, and ensure the delivery of high-quality images. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities (Both Roles): Perform CT scans according to established protocols and physician orders. Prepare patients for CT procedures, explaining the process and answering questions. Operate CT equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality images. Position patients appropriately for optimal imaging. Administer contrast media as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Adhere to radiation safety protocols. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Participate in quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities (Senior CT Technologist - In Addition to Above):
Provide guidance and training to other CT technologists. Assist with the development and implementation of new protocols. Troubleshoot equipment issues. May have some lead or supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications:
CT Technologist:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Licensure/Certification:
Upon Hire: Montana Radiologic Technologist license. Upon Hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification. Upon Hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography (ARRT) certification. National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography (ARRT) certification within 1 year of hire OR National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification within 1 year of hire.
Experience:
Preferred: One (1) year of general radiology experience. Senior CT Technologist:
Education: Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements. Licensure/Certification: Same as CT Technologist. Experience: Three (3) years of general radiology/CT experience. Why Join Us?
