$55-62 / Hourly / DOE

Overview
The Clinical Manager assists the Director of Clinical Services with the supervision of home health services to patients in their place of residence in accordance with physician orders and strives to provide the highest quality of care. Skilled nursing and other therapeutic services are furnished under the supervision of the Clinical Manager and are available to always assist our clinicians and patients during operating hours. Will also have oversight of care planning for Private Duty clients; assisting the Director with program supervision, coordination, and oversight; providing resolution of client and caregiver matters.

Participates in the development of standards which ensure safe and therapeutically effective service to patient/family. Ability to supervise, guide and develop nursing skills and performances. Assists in recruiting, hiring, evaluating, training and disciplinary action processes for caregiver/nursing personnel. Assists in instituting, interpreting and documenting disciplinary action. Responsible for the orientation of new patient care personnel. Assists in the preparation and implementation of policies and procedures which meet Medicare, Medicaid, accrediting bodies, state and local laws. Assists in the coordination of interdisciplinary team services, patient care and referrals. Assists in the organization of nursing services and the development of safe standards Participates in the coordination of Careage Home Health/Careage At Home’s services with the services of other community agencies. Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient related information. Serves as a resource person to employees. Develops a cooperative relationship and communicates effectively and professionally with physicians. Investigates and reports any problem relating to patient care and/or employee well-being. Immediately reports and accident, incident, lost articles or unusual occurrence to the Director of Clinical Services/Executive Director. Attends pertinent continuing education programs other than routine services and share information with staff. Monitors equipment for appropriate use and takes steps to keep misuse to a minimum. Assists with the Agency’s ongoing QAPI program. Assures the development, implementation and updates of the individualized patient plans of care. Reviews patient medical records for compliance with federal, state, accrediting bodies, local and Agency policies and guidelines. Assists Director of Clinical Services in conducting patient care conferences, staff meetings and maintains documentation. Participates in community education projects. Ensures that all necessary supplies and equipment are available. Must be able to perform nursing functions in times of staff shortage being available to share on-call with nursing personnel if needed. Makes staff and patient assignments and on-call. Acts as Director of Clinical Services in the Director’s absence. Assures that patient needs are continually assessed. Supervises the Home Health Aide and caregiver programs, ensuring compliance with all service and reporting requirements. Ensures compliance with Licensed Care and Private Duty policies and procedures. Participates in the orientation, training, and continuing education of home care aides. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Services/Executive Director. Requirements Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing Active Registered Nurse License in WA State Able to work in Bellevue, WA in-office Willingness to travel up to 25% of total hours worked within King and/or Pierce County Previous management experience, preferred Minimum of 2 years of home health experience, preferred RISK EXPOSURE High risk LIFTING REOUlREMENTS Ability to perform the following tasks if necessary: Ability to participate in physical activity. Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity. Moderate lifting. Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.
