The Associate Director oversees housing operations and support for approximately 350 juniors and seniors, managing the Junior-Senior Village (212 beds in three new apartment buildings opening Fall 2025) and College-owned off-campus rentals (100-150 beds). The role supervises three student Community Assistants and collaborates closely with the Housing Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Residence Life and Housing, the position may also step in for the Director when needed. Key Responsibilities
Junior-Senior Village and Rentals Oversight & Student Support (50%) Supervise and mentor three student CAs, oversee training, meetings, and hiring. Facilitate community-building activities and wellness checks in collaboration with relevant offices and support teams. Manage check-in/check-out processes and programming for the Junior-Senior Village. Create events and activities to foster community and connect students with support services. Provide emergency support and advise on crisis response, serving on an on-call rotation. Address conduct issues using restorative practices. Coordinate with Facilities for maintenance and repairs. Housing Lottery, Selection & Placement (20%) Partner with the Director and Housing Coordinator on housing lotteries and room assignments. Assist with implementing and improving housing management software. Develop and distribute housing communications and materials. Coordinate with Disability Support Services for accessible housing. Serve as a contact for housing-related inquiries from students, parents, and staff. Additional Information
