IBM ACE Integration Architect | HYBRID (CA)

Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality IBM Integration Bus IIBACE solution design that addresses business needs by developing it based on project requirements.
• Utilize programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures, and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.
• Support deployment planning including code deployment, backout readiness, and post-install support.
• Support versioning of web service components, services, schema maps, etc., and adhere to source code control management best practices during the development process.
• Identify and implement industry and SOA best practices and standards.
• Identify applicable IIB design patterns and implement them.
• Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations, incorporating security requirements into the design and providing input to information/data flow.
• Support Web Service Security Authentication and Authorization activities and maintain service availability.
• Perform Performance Tuning including load balancing, load distribution, high load support, and high payload size support.

Skills:

• Good experience in IBM MQ App Connect Enterprise ACE and IBM Integration Bus IIB.
• Exposure to IBM API Connect and Data Power.
• Develop maps, message flows, and configure/develop adapters.
• Experience in REST and SOAP services.
• Strong in SQL Queries; background in .NET and Java is required.
• Comfortable with protocols in the WMB such as MQ, SOAP, or HTTP.
• Good in ESQL coding, mapping nodes, and transformations.
• Capable of Performance optimization.
• Configuration of WMB/IIB in Testing and Production environments.
• Good communication skills; able to articulate technical ideas well.
• Quick learner, solution provider, self-motivated.
• Knowledge of Retail Core and Corporate Banking domain.
• At least 5 years’ experience with IBM Integration Bus/ACE, IBM Websphere Message Broker, and IBM Websphere Message Queue (MQ).
• At least 5 years’ experience with Extended Structured Query Language (ESQL) development.
• At least 5 years’ experience with Enterprise Application Integration/Service Oriented Architecture (EAI/SOA).
• Sound understanding of HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON is desired.
• Sound understanding of synchronous and asynchronous messaging patterns, developing common reusable IIB artifacts.
