Job Title: Data Analyst

Locations: Remote

Duration: 12 Months to start

Job Description:

Summary:

The main function of this data analyst is to diagnose performance trends using complex data and provide sharp analytical insights and ongoing tracking/reporting of trends as well as coordinating changes to databases and implementation of data tests.

Must-Have Skills:

1. Vetted experience with SQL, being able to run independent analysis with a vast variety of data sets
2. Tableau experience, knowledge of database management software
3. Experience using data to create compelling stories that communicate key messages

Required Skills:

1. Problem solving and analysis experience including solving complex business challenges
2. Review existing databases and database management systems and direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
3. Coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
4. Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
6. Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
7. Knowledge of database management software.

Education/Experience:

1. Experience with data modeling, machine learning, experimentation/causal inference methods.
2. Familiarity with data visualization, creation of productionized dashboards
3. Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
4. Strong knowledge of database management software.
