Position Overview WhirlWind Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Principal Network Architect who shall provide network architecture and design services while ensuring secure, reliable, and low latency networking. Duties include but are not limited to: Provides high-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff. Develops architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines in accordance with the organization's strategy and goals. Develops strategy of system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy. Advises on selection of technological purchases regarding processing, data storage, data access, and applications development. Sets standards for the client/server relational database structure for the organization (SQL, ORACLE, SYBASE, etc.). Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management. Tracks current plans. Monitors and reviews the success of systems and ensures efficiency and effectiveness. Education Minimum BS/BA degree in related field (or equivalent certification, or years of experience) Must have at least one certification from the list below: Certifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Requirements Minimum 10 years' experience Network Architecture and Design Security Architecture and Design Unified Communications Architecture and Design
