Key Responsibilities
Application Development:
Design, build, and maintain .NET (C#) applications on Windows platforms.
Deployment & Monitoring:
Partner with the infrastructure team to deploy solutions and implement robust monitoring.
Database Design & Optimization:
Author complex queries and stored procedures; perform performance tuning for both SQL Server and Oracle databases.
Backup & Recovery:
Manage backup and restore operations, alongside proactive tuning of production and test environments.
Documentation:
Produce clear, concise technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
User Support:
Troubleshoot and resolve application and database issues for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
Work Authorization:
U.S. residency and legal right to work in the United States.
Experience:
3–5 years of hands-on experience in software development and database administration within similar environments. Manufacturing environment experience is a plus.
Languages:
English (Italian or Spanish is a plus). Supporting corporate team located in Italy.
Development Frameworks:
Proven expertise with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core using C#.
SQL Server:
In-depth experience with Microsoft SQL Server — query tuning, backup/restore, and performance optimization.
Oracle Database:
Solid knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning techniques.
Windows Infrastructure:
Familiarity with Windows Server administration and Internet Information Services (IIS).
Soft Skills:
Excellent teamwork, strong problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven attitude.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Candidates with equivalent practical experience or alternative credentials will also be considered.
