PIH Health internal applicants or Altera employees (working at PIH Health as of May 2025), Epic certification in the required application/module must be obtained within 120 days of hire or transfer into the position. Failure to obtain certification within this timeframe may result in removal from the position; however, the employee will be eligible to apply for other internal openings for which they meet the minimum qualifications.
External applicants must possess active Epic certification in the required application/module at the time of hire. Proof of current certification will be required.
This position will focus primarily on the following Epic applications: Cadence Registration and Prelude Enterprise Scheduling. The Epic Application Analyst, Cadence & Prelude, is the primary support contact for these applications and will guide workflow design, build and test the system, and analyze technical issues related to Epic and connected software.

Required Skills
Understanding of scheduling and payer authorization operational practices, including nuances of provider schedules and their relation to medical record flow.
Knowledge of systems integrated with Cadence, including check-in, registration, benefits, referrals, PCP assignment, and orders.
Required Experience Epic Application Analyst I, Cadence & Prelude
Bachelor’s Degree
3 years of experience or less; 4+ years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
Preferred:
Cadence Registration and Prelude Enterprise Scheduling experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, or related
3-5 years of experience
Epic Application Analyst II, Cadence & Prelude
Bachelor’s Degree
3-7 years of experience; 4+ years accepted in lieu of degree
Same preferred qualifications as Analyst I
Epic Application Analyst III, Cadence & Prelude
Bachelor’s Degree
7+ years of experience
Same preferred qualifications as Analyst I
