Highlands Community Ministries, a well-established center in the heart of the Highlands, is seeking a dedicated full-time Infant Teacher to join our team.
We are looking for a candidate with experience working with infants aged roughly 6 months to 12 months. In this role, you?ll partner with one co-teacher to care for and nurture a group of little ones, ensuring they thrive in a safe, loving, and stimulating environment.
Key Qualities We?re Seeking:
Strong attention to detail Ability to multitask effectively Excellent communication skills, especially when engaging with parents
Schedule & Benefits:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM No evening or weekend shifts?enjoy a healthy work-life balance!

Duties
Ability to focus on providing a positive and safe environment to the children Ability to work in a team setting Communication with parents Demonstrate good judgement Implement lesson plans to help children develop Work as a team with the parent Follow center health and safety guidelines Someone who is flexible, every day is different when working with children
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Ability to pass a criminal background record check Have a current TB test Ability to read, write, and converse in English. Ability to effectively communicate with children, staff, parents, and others. Ability to lift up to 35lbs and occasionally 50 lbs Cooperates with and shows respect for co-workers at all levels.
Nice To Haves
Experience in working with infants. If not experienced then the abiltity and willingness to be trained Positive attitude Flexible Someone able to multitask
