BASIC FUNCTION:
The intern will work under the close supervision of Senior IT staff and will be expected to adhere to all company policies, including those related to data security and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
Application Administration & User Support Process access requests, unlock accounts and documents, and manage group permissions. Assist with administering key systems, including the Document Management System (DMS) and email spam filtering services. Release emails from quarantine and assist with DMS access or version control issues. Hardware Support & Break/Fix
Set up and configure hardware for new hire onboarding (laptops, monitors, peripherals). Perform break/fix support (e.g., replacing keyboards, mice, webcams, docking stations). Track issued equipment and maintain inventory records. General IT Support
Provide Tier 1 technical support and escalate issues as needed. Assist with IT projects and document troubleshooting steps. Create and maintain knowledge base articles. Education/Experience
Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field. Basic knowledge of IT support, Windows OS, MS365, and computer hardware (A+ certification preferred). Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., Mimecast, DMS, SCCM) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in teams. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently in a team environment with minimal supervision, take initiative, set priorities, follow through and see projects through to completion. Effective and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Exceptional customer service, problem solving skills and problem management techniques for issue resolution.

The person should possess the ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management and staff with tact and diplomacy. Position requires a demonstration of effective oral and written communication skills, self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
