About being our Marketing Intern We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to support our marketing and business development efforts in the professional services (engineering) industry. As a Marketing Intern for Psomas, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a variety of tasks and activities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will work under the supervision of experienced professionals, assisting with various tasks and projects. This opportunity is for a summer internship with a flexible duration. This is part-time position for 20 hours a week. Responsibility Highlights for our Marketing Intern
Shadow, observe and assist
in contributing ideas to campaigns and strategies for the development of marketing materials for a multi-disciplinary professional engineering services
Support projects and initiatives
which may include participating in the coordination and execution of proposals and presentations
Assist with administrative tasks
such as managing correspondence, organizing files, proofreading, and editing marketing collateral
Help maintain marketing information and content
in Psomas' marketing database and digital asset library which includes boiler plate, templates, project descriptions, photos, infographics, team member resumes, scopes of work, etc.
Learn and develop technical and soft skills
through training, resources and hands-on experience with business operations working in a fun, collaborative, and inclusive office environment
Gain practical experience
by communicating with a variety of technical staff such as civil engineers, environmental, land surveyors, project and construction management professionals, etc. and infrastructure personnel such as accounting, office administration, marketing communications, human resources, IT, etc.
Minimum Qualifications to be our Marketing Intern
Must be a college/university student actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree
Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Interest in the A/E/C (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) or interest in how a corporate marketing department conducts daily operations
Preferred Qualifications for our Marketing Intern
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with Unanet Client Relationship Management (CRM) Database or similar
